Pelvic Floor Assessment
The pelvic floor evaluation is a way to assess the pelvic floor muscle strength and health. The evaluation takes about 1 hour and is painless, educational, and the first step towards a healthier pelvic floor. With a soft manometry testing probe placed in the vagina, the patient then does 3 short Kegel tests to assess the current level of pelvic floor muscle strength. These tests are interactive and Paula explains what is happening during the testing process. Based on the findings of the Pelvic Floor Assessment, a customized pelvic floor training program is then set-up to improve pelvic floor muscle health and decrease any bothersome symptoms as a result of a weak pelvic floor. Patients in our practice have very positive things to say about this program, their results, and Paulašs expertise.
